Yesterday was a big day for the boys...they went to school for the first time! Of course not to study, but for Maddie's Show & Share. Maddie had asked if she could bring the boys to Show & Share probably back in January, maybe even December. She talks about them all the time and wanted her teacher and friends to get to meet these boys she loves and talks about all the time. So, we made a deal that after RSV and flu season were over, we would take the boys. We decided we would do it after Baptism, so Maddie could plan! So you better believe when Baptism was over she said, "Can they come on Monday?" I checked our schedule and Wednesday morning seemed to work the best for all. So, here are a few pictures of Maddie showing off the Bodie Boys.

Big Bodie Boys
The boys are getting big in size and doing more and more. Today, Landon weighed in at 12 lbs. 4 oz and Tristan was 12 lbs. 10.5 oz, and they are each about 23 inches long. They are eating cereal twice a day and loving it! They also both rolled over from tummy to back!! It was such a big day. We are working on rolling all the way over, but this is a start. Landon is a mover, usually when we go in their room in the morning he has moved from where we left him so it is only a matter of time before they are moving everywhere!
What a Weekend!
This past weekend was so much fun and went way TOO fast!! The week leading up to it was just as busy trying to get everything prepared. Jared was really busy... not home at all and always working, coaching, and such so I was on my own. Yet, I must say I did pretty darn good. I wanted it to be perfect for my boys' first big event...their Baptism. So, I started making a list last week as to what I NEEDED to do or get done and what I wanted to get done. I went day by day and got most of the things I wanted to get done, done. I had some help from a friend at work as well as Brandon and Cassie. Thank you so much! I wanted pictures hung on our walls since we have been in our house now since October and the walls were still bare. I know many of you may think, you have been a little busy which is all true, but I still wanted it done. Yes we moved in October 27th and Nov. 12th I was in the hospital on bed rest, had the boys on Nov. 26th and they were in the hospital forever, but I still wanted our house to look like a home. Sometimes it is good to have events or parties at your house because it makes you get stuff done!
Anyways, on to our event filled weekend. On friday, Alison, mom, Kristy and the kids came to hang out for the weekend and stay with us. That night, we ordered pizza and hung out by the fire and made smores. Saturday, we had a little more to do in preparation for Sunday's Baptism, but mainly we just hung out and got ready for the next crew to come in on Saturday night. Jared's entire family came in on that night, so we grilled out and again made smore smores. The weather this past weekend was so AWESOME!!! It was nice to be outside and we even took the boys out some when they were awake.
Then the BIG day came for the boys. We were so excited as were they! They did great in church as they slept most of the time and then woke up to eat right when it was time for their Baptism (which I knew may happen). I will add some pictures soon, my camera is dead and can't find the charger. We had a house full of family and friends ( I think I counted more than 45). The day even included the first-ever kick ball game on the Bodammer Pitch. It was a pretty classy event as we used empty cases of beer as the bases! It was so nice that so many people were able to be a part of the day. For everyone who traveled for the weekend or the day.... THANK YOU! We had a such a great time and missed the family and friends that couldn't make it, but understand people can't make everything! We are so blessed to have such amazing family and group of friends and so blessed to have our healthy baby boys! God is GREAT!
It is always so hard when everyone leaves. I hate to see everyone go home and we have to go back to work, but it makes the next time we are all together something to look forward to. It also is a reminder not to take these moments for granted.

March for Babies
Today was a big day for the boys and us, we got a team together and got many pledges for us to walk for the march of dimes to help research more ways to not have premature babies. Since the boys were born prematurely we thought we would get a team together and raise money and give back to them. We did pretty well we had 19(20 counting Joleigh in the stroller and 22 counting the boys). I am not sure what our final count was for money raised but my goal was $2000 and I believe we were close or hit it. Thank you so much to my basketball team and the others that walked with us, next year we hope to get more walkers our goal is 50 walkers for the 50 days they were in the NICU.

Omaha..."Somewhere in the Middle of America"
This past weekend we went to Omaha for the Bodammer Easter. We had Friday off so we got on the road around noon and headed in. It was a nice weekend and the boys enjoyed it and slept a lot::). We must have warn them out on Friday. We got in town and went to aunt Tara's and saw Ms. Ella and the boys then to grandma and grandpa's and then to Danny's for fish fry. It was a later night for them and they slept in. I had to wake up Tristan at 9:00 am so he didn't get to far off from his brother for eating. Then they went down for along monring nap, both fro about 2 and half hours. Then we went and got their pictures taken with the Easter bunny and had some lunch with Tara, Dave and Family and Janet. boys slept most o fthe afternoon and still went down for the night and slept until 8ish. Sunday was Easter so we go tup ate and got ready for our first Easter! It was so fun dressing the boys up! They did AWESOME in church and with Easter and hanging with all the family. We took LOTS and LOTS of pictures. They didn't want to take a long afternoon nap because the house was full of family and they are social butterflies:). We got back late last night but was worth it and such a fun weekend. Family time is so much fun! We hate leaving either side but when together is always so much fun!
