For a little background information, we moved into our new house at the end of October and by Nov. 12, Jill was in the hospital with pre-term labor. They gave the little guys steroids to help their lungs and such develop quicker. The doctor thought we would have them any day, but we were able to hold them off for awhile. Jill was in and out (but mostly in) the hospital. She was able to come home to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at our house with nearly the entire Rosenmeyer clan. As that night went on, Jill's contractions kept getting worse. We headed to the hospital around 11 p.m. They tried everything to delay labor, but the boys were determined to see us! At 1:30 a.m. she was moved to a labor and delivery room. By 2:30, she was given an epidural. Although she was nervous about it, she did great and felt much better. At 3:45 she was dilated to 6-7. She was able to nap from 4-5 and when they checked again at 5, she was dilated to 7-8. At 5:30, it was 8-9 and her water broke during check-up. We moved to the operating room. We waited for a long time in the OR as when her water broke, she became less dilated (7-8). Eventually, she starting trying to push and about 45 minutes later...
