15 Months

Today was their 15 month check up and the nurse could not get over how identical the boys really are.  First off they get weighed and Landon went first.  On a side note he took a big step and got to stand on the big scale not sit on a baby scale:).  Landon weighed 22 lbs. 3.4 oz. Next was Tristan he was big boy too and stood on the scale.  He weighed in at 22 lbs. 6.2 oz.  Next was their height and both boys were the EXACT same, right on the nose, an even 30 inches tall.  Dr. Amir showed us their growth chart and was very happy with where they are and the direction they are going...UP!

On the road AGAIN...

This past weekend my basketball team traveled to Hastings, NE so we left on Friday night and played a game on Saturday at 2:00.  It was our last regular season game and we lost...BAD!  It was an ugly game only had 16 points at half time, bad bad bad!  Well, after the game I get a text from Jared saying, "even though your team sucked today, I still love you".  Isn't he sweet?  Then he said do you want to get dropped off in Omaha and we hang out there for Sunday?  I said sure sounded like fun and poor Jared hadn't been ANYWHERE but work and home and to one basketball game at Morningside. Since I was gone all the time he was home with the boys.  So needless to say he was ready to get away.  So we got in and meet up at his parents Saturday night and boys were asleep in the car and got woken up to his whole family and they were a bit crabby to say the least.  They were tired and ready for bed but now that people were around didn't want to go to bed and then when they went to bed were so over tired they fought it.  Sunday we just hung out went to church and went to Ameristar to swim because Brandon and Amy had a free night stay.  Landon feel asleep but Tristan loved the water.  Once Landon woke up he swam a little bit.  Tristan swam a long time and would have stayed in but he had gotten real red (rash like) so I wanted to get him rinsed off just in case the chlorine was too much.  It was very nice to see the family and hang out even if it was less than 24 hours.

This picture is what Tristan looked like after a shower (notice the blotchy redness ) will post more pictures soon.

.
Today the boys started to say ball and they LOVE balls!  They love to throw the ball and catch a ball, they just giggle and giggle over it.  Tristan said Dog too and I think Landon did once.  They are starting to repeat everything you do and say, we better watch out now.

Now Landon

So with the anticipated bad winter storm about to hit the Mustangs had to get to Lincoln, Ne to et their game in today at 2:00. I was very bummed to have to leave my boys as I have had a game JV or varsity four nights this week and recruiting two nights. Anyways off we went to Lincoln and mom missed her boys. This morning I woke up to a text from daddy at home with the boys. Text of Landon followed by two more textes...

You can imagine how I was feeling at this time. Looked like Tristan's eye about three weeks ago. So thank goodness our doctor is a friend so I sent him a picture text and he said yep cellulitis what Tristan had. So if not better by tomorrow or Monday we will be going to doctor or hospital. I pray the antibiotics work. He is a trooper tho Jared had a super busy day and I was gone thank goodness to Kris (out life savor) she went and got his medicine for Jared this morning and watched the boys this afternoon. Need less to say mom was excited to get home tonight. I hope tomorrow Landon's eye is better please say a prayer for him tonight. Thanks.
