The boys are 9 months old today...where does the time go!
Yesterday we notice that Tristan got his first tooth, bottom front left. How exciting that they both have teeth and can start eating more table food now. Yesterday the boys also had their 9 months check up and I am sure you are all wondering (maybe not) but we were wondering if they made the charts!! Yes finally they made the charts and we don't have to do extra calorie formula anymore. Jared had a meeting so I had to go alone so I didn't get everything written down exactly but Landon was 28 percentile in height, 17 percentile in weight, 17 in head. Tristan was 44 percentile in height, 11 in weight, and 17 in head. The doctor was very impressed with how the boys are doing. We are so proud of our tiny miracles that were once soo small but are doing so great now and growing so big. The boys love to stand and hold on to your hands and walk. They are growing up so fast and this age is so fun because of how much they change.

Brotherly Love
Here are some Video's of the boys talking/laughing with each other...funny!
...to be continued (after clean up)
On the video's above I love how Landon would hit Tristan when he wasn't paying attention to him, "hey brother I am not done talking/playing with you".

AEA
AEA has been coming out monthly since the boys got dismissed from the NICU to check on their development. They have always adjusted age when evaluating so for 6 months appointment they would look at what 4 month olds are doing because they were two months early. At the 6 month appointment I asked her to bring a 6 month check list too, just to see:). (They come out to our house, which is very nice). So she brought the 6 month check list and we went through it and at that time were doing almost everything a 6 month should be doing so she didn't come in July. Well, she came out today and brought a 8 and 9 month checklist. She was so impressed with the boys and how big they were getting. She said they were doing almost everything a 9 month old should do. We were very very happy and felt very good that our boys so far were developing so well. It was so scary at first and all you could do was wait and try and work with them and HOPE they develop. They did so well she doesn't come back til Nov. and then again in Feb. This is a very good feeling. Even though the boys and I love to see Julie it is a nice feeling to know they are growing up at a good rate.

Teeth???
Today a couple big things happened. Earlier I said that we had PT and OT and I was hoping that we got dismissed from there and we did! We graduated again from another thing!! The boys were having no issues that PT/OT thought they needed to come back for. But of course if we had questions to let them know.
Later in the day we went out to a couple stores and Landon was smiling and I was like holy cow you got a tooth! I said when did that happen I swear a couple hours before I felt and no teeth yet, but sure enough by night time there was one on the bottom. Tristan don't have any yet. As Tristan acted like one might be coming in we will see. That's all, just a short post but wanted to let you know about the TOOTH...big deal!
Here is a video of the boys at first they were talking up a storm to each other but of course when I got out the camera they stopped. But if you watch it til the end they start laughing at each other. Tristan is bitting on his had like crazy, must be a tooth coming.

Another Big Week
So again we talk about another milestone for the boys, and yet again I have mixed emotions. Monday Landon pulled himself up on his bouncer and stood there, Tuesday Tristan did the same thing. They love to stand up and hold onto our hand or onto things. They just smile and think they are so cool. Today, daddy had to lower their cribs too because we have went in many times and they are just sitting up in their beds talking away. Monday they also went to get weighed and for the first time, they were too big to lay on the scale so they got to sit up :) . Tristan went first today and he weighed 17 lbs. 4 oz and Landon..... did he pass his brother or get even with him? Nope, he was 17 lbs. 3 oz. Isn't it crazy how close they always are? Landon has not weighed more than his brother Tristan since he was a few days/weeks old. Not too long back (I believe their 6th month check up) they weighed the exact same. We go to PT and OT today and hope that we get told that we don't have to come back any more because they are doing so well! Hope to post pictures soon!
They love to feed themselves now!
Thinking they are soooo funny because they are standing

Long, Quiet Weekend....
This weekend went by a little slower then most because I was alone in my house... just Koda and I. Jared and the boys packed up yesterday morning and headed to Omaha. For Mother's Day we gave Jared's mom a great gift - redoing her bathroom. She was so excited. We are so excited to do it for her! So all us kids (mainly the men) decided to gut the whole bathroom. Well, with that being said it is going to take awhile to get it done. I had a jewelry show on Saturday night and this weekend worked for everyone so he loaded up the boys and off they went. I felt bad because with kids/babies someone had to watch them so at times they didn't get as much done as they would have liked, but they made progress. This will be an ongoing project and include many weekends traveled to Omaha. The detours and added time doesn't make it much fun for us, but it will be worth it in the end. The boys love going to see Grandma and Grandpa and their cousins and aunts and uncles. It is not the easiest to load two pack and plays and two of almost everything, but we love doing it and love seeing the fam!
