on the uphill... I think

The boys have been feeling a little bit better after getting on medicine but still throwing up occasionally.  Tristan threw up from last Wednesday until Tuesday and Landon threw up from last Thursday until Monday but then again today(Thursday).  It has been a long sick week around here but I have disinfected many many times and cleaned all the toys and have done more laundry in a week then I think I have done all year(no joke).  They boys have not ate a whole lots so when they do start eating they may never stop.  I am just glad they are starting to feel better.  Jared and I said finally our boys are coming back.  We took back to daycare today and they did good except didn’t eat well she said.  We have rescheduled their birthday party for this Sunday as they are feeling much much better.  I have decided that I was not going to do a whole lot more on top of what I had already did for the boys’ party.  I put the cake pops in the fridge and the cupcakes in the freezer so hope they are good, I will test on Saturday.  I didn’t want to waste all what I had done.

So Blessed

Again this year we have so much to be thankful for, even though we had a pretty sick household we are all in all more than BLESSED!  We had a game on Tuesday night and then Wednesday Jared and I had lots to get ready for for the boys' birthday party Sunday and my family's side Thanksgiving at our house.  So Wednesday we both were doing things around the house, running errands until...I got a call from Nikki (daycare) to say her and her son have thrown up so we may want to come and get the boys.  Well, I was on the other side of town so I finished there and went and got the boys.  Washing their hands, my hands and took off their clothes, opened all the windows to try and prevent us from getting sick.  Jared and I were working hard to get food ready, house ready and such so we could go into Omaha for Thanksgiving day before we went to bed we went to check on the boys before bed and Tristan had thrown up all over.  Long story short after cleaning him up and him throwing up a few times he was back into bed and thought we would discuss if we would go into Omaha.  Well, the next morning everyone seemed to be fine after both boys sleeping in we decided to go to Omaha for the day.  I had practice that night so we knew we would need to get back.  Thanksgiving at the Bodammer's was great and the boys did great, you would have never known Tristan was sick and Landon was just tired and sleepy the whole time.  But Tristan would not have known he was throwing up.
My family debating on if they should come to Sioux City or not with boys being sick, I felt bad and didn't want to get anyone sick so I let them know.  Most of the family still made it in and we enjoyed our time together.  Friday we had dinner and made cake pops for the boys birthday party on Sunday Sat. I woke up not feeling to well but life went on and I went to my game.  Only a few people came to my game that afternoon and then when Jared and I got home we did our Thanksgiving dinner for the Rosenmeyer side.  The boys had thrown up more through out the day but we did get them to eat a little not much tho.  That night my sister in laws and I worked on the boys' cupcakes for their party we were suppose to be having on Sunday.  After getting that done and ready for bed boys both were throwing up more and now my nephew Weston was also throwing up.  We were not sure if it was the flu or if it was because he ate too much frosting from the cupcakes:).  Anyways the next morning Sunday the morning we were suppose to have the boys party Jared and my dad were sick so we decided to cancel/postpone the party.  I was very very bummed as I had put a lot of time into this but I also did NOT want to get anyone else sick!  We were going on four days of throwing up and I was hoping it was a 24 hour bug.  Sunday was a lazy day of trying to play with boys and keep them out of Jared's hair.  I was disinfecting AGAIN and AGAIN all day long as I had already multiple times.  Landon was so fussy and would just cry and cry Sunday so I had decided first thing Monday morning I was calling to get into our doctor (he is always full).  So I did call and got them in, they both had double ear infection, strep and stomach flu!  How does a poor little child get all that at once and all on their birthday!
You can imagine their birthday was not a whole lot of fun for them or us as we had all been sick and them still not feeling well.  We will keep them home from daycare until later in the week.

They loved opening gifts!

They wanted a cake pop and as I was hesitant with them being sick I thought heck its their birthday, so I let them have one

MA and PA

As the boys refer to grandma and grandpa Rosenmeyer as Ma and Pa came to visit this weekend!  I had a game Friday night and Jared had a game at BC Friday and two on Saturday.  My mom and dad came to my game and then we came home to get boys to bed nothing to exciting.  Saturday we just hung out went to Target and out to lunch to Chinese(my dad's favorite and my moms least favorite).  Then boys took a nap and so did Ma and PA:).  Then after Jared got home we went out to eat at Outback.  Sunday they got up and left after coffee.  Not a real exciting weekend but that's nice considering the next two weekends I will be on the road for basketball.
Can I just say how much I love how my dad and mom being so helpful, especially my dad because that is out of character for him.  He will always help me out if Jared is gone or busy he is so helpful.  For you that know my dad know what I mean about not being his character.  He loves all his grand kids but doesn't always look to help out and jump right in.  I think he realizes that mom can't do all she used to so he helps out more, and I love it.  Its not with anything big and don't think its changing diapers because that is way above the call of grandpa:), I just mean like help carrying one down the steps or getting one in their car seats and such.  They are so good about letting grandpa and grandma help mommy out when all alone.  Nothing too exciting but here are some photos from the weekend.
Grandma Rosenmeyer and Tristan reading books, their favorite book "Moo"  they love it, its just animals!

At nap time on Sunday I looked in to find no one in "Tristan's" bed but in Landon's bed laid them both!  That was soo cute I had to take a picture.  Love the twin bond.  Lately the boys have been napping in the others bed so Landon in Tristans and Tristan in Landon's.

Another favorite thing is wood puzzles
